Heh. I draw her a lot, don't I? Oh well. She's fascinating. I adore the character. Take note of the graffitti on the bag ;) Photoshop, Painter and Graphite Drawing.

how much is PS versus Painter? hair reminds me of a character from Gen-13, back when that comic first started, freefall I believe. Looks good, the only qualm is that shoe's shadow should be over the bag on the bottom corner (it should be noted that a nit picky comment like this means that I looked really really hard and couldn't think of anything else that could really be improved, but find myself in art school critique mode whenever browsing this site, and feel as if any constructive comment should be aired). That being said, my favorite part about this is the way the shadow interacts with the background, really seperating her from it, and giving the sketchy marks a tangibility they wouldn't otherwise have. I'm pretty sure this isn't the intention, but the shadow being placed the way it is makes the otherwise insubstantial wall seem like part of a real place, making me (and this is where I start being too involved with the act of looking at art) want to see the character walk around in a world with that treatment. Too much animation in my system I guess, but I think it would be cool if characters treated like this one were placed in a scene with the same touch as the background, it'd be very dynamic, and create a means of focussing on what's important.

also you made her younger than I imagined her to be

Adorable! I love the costume design and the painting on her stomach and the fishnet. I'm such a Tonks fan, and yet I've never drawn her. I'll have to try my hand one of these days.

I'm going to choke him to death. And then when he stops breathing...karate.

If you're going to draw her a lot, that's really fine with us you know! You pictured her perfectly, she's really near to the image I hold of her after reading the books. Thanks for bringing this wonderful Tonks. Never quite seen such a good job before for this character.

I like the two-toned hair you did on this one, and I think that I'm going to start using your make-up to influence my costume. ^_^

Amazing ^_^ I've looked all over for Tonks fan art and came up with nothing! Which is sad because she is a wonderful character. But now your works of her more than make up for it. Absolutely beautiful!

I love tonks, and you drew her like I invisioned her to be! That is very cool, so I will fav it! I might draw tonks now, you have inspired me to do so..lol. Anyways, very, very good, and check out my gallery! ^_^

Thanks! I love Tonks, I relate to her a lot (Mainly cause of her clumsiness. I am TERRIBLY clumsy!)
