David Krumholtz plays the adorably geeky Charlie Eppes in the new tv show "Numb3rs". I absolutely adore watching the show and DK is a joy to look at for an hour. I just love his profile and had to draw it. Little did I know that I was getting myself into quite the challenge. You'd think, being such a unique looking person, that he'd be easy to capture on paper. No, not at all. Elijah Wood was a cakewalk compared to this guy. It took three attempts and a lot of swearing and pacing about muttering to myself before I was able to get something that I was reasonably pleased with. I'm not entirely pleased with the technique but at least it looks like him.

you know, I think that we are all our worst critics. This looks great! I took an drawing class about a year ago, but I didn't keep it up. Wish I had. I think he's good looking too!

donno' the guy, but it sure looks realistic to me
i'm gettin' the feelin' that any moment he's gonna turn hes face to me
he's eyes look like they'r real
and the shadowing of the jaw is great, too

I like very much his pose..... the attitude of his body and his expression reflect something about the attitude of his mind....there is something sad in his eyes..

Thank you! He was looking at a girl that likes him but he can't date for professional reasons. Was a very sad moment. :)
